Mary’s first love in life was dance. After dancing for 16 years and graduating high school, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. While in college, she began attending Yoga classes in order to round out her exercise routine in the way that dance did. She has been practicing almost every day since, as she quickly realized the transformational potential the practice has for overall health including body, mind, and spirit.
Mary graduated with her BSN in 2018, moved to Jacksonville Beach, and began work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. After working through the COVID pandemic for two years, Mary travelled to Peru for an immersive Yoga Teacher Training in order to begin focusing on preventative health. She now works primarily as a Cardiology Nurse while continuing to pick up shifts in the ICU, and is working toward becoming certified as a Holistic Nurse Coach.
Mary has a strong interest in utilizing various forms of Yoga and meditation to cultivate the mind-body connection, reduce stress, prevent chronic disease, and promote longevity. She is looking forward to working closely with clients to assess their current health status, set individualized goals, and work toward those goals together.
